We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of town. The location was perfect, as we were just steps away from the ski lifts and right in the center of the village. The staff here were amazing, providing top-notch service and making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated the pet amenities available, as we were traveling with our furry friend. The hotel also had a sauna and spa lounge, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor activities. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.
We recommend this place to our family and friends.

Friendly, helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet with a children's section of the buffet. Wonderful on site restaurant and bar with a wine bar adjoining. Short, easy walk to both the train station and the ski slopes.

Great breakfast with many options and good service. the location is great for skiing and nightlife/daylife. the hotel has excellent facilities.
The evening meals had a set time and no choice of meal was available. As a result, we had to miss dinner on occasion.

Great location in the center of town, with easy access to transportation and nearby restaurants. The hotel facilities were stylish and clean, with a wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. Despite being in the heart of the city, the hotel was peaceful and quiet.
Nothing, all was good.

Good location near train station, town square and ski lifts.
It really needs a better sign! I was looking for a Hotel Diplomat sign whereas its branded Hotel Åregården with Diplomat in really small letters. Took me ages to find it - especially when I asked locals on two separate occasions and they send me in the totally wrong direction to another hotel under the same ownership - clearly they don't even know which is which! For future visitors it is literally on the town square opposite a bank.

Great Location, Comfortable Rooms, and Delicious Breakfast
The hotel had an awesome location and was situated in the heart of the ski resort, which made it very easy to access the ski lifts and the slopes. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, which made my stay even better. The best aspect of the hotel was the comfortable room, which had a drying cabinet for skiwear, and the delicious breakfast, which has a range of freshly baked bread and homemade muesli.
The hotel could improve their outdated bathroom and provide a minibar in the room. The bar service was also slow, which was frustrating after a long day of skiing.

The hotel has a great location, right in the center of the village and close to the ski lifts. the facilities are adequate to help soothe those muscles after a hard day on the slopes. Breakfast is decent with plenty of choices.
Some of the rooms are a bit tired and could use updating.
